Ok, so when you hear the word "Superhero", you probably think of a guy in some costume with a cape who has amazing powers and saves people, right? We all look up to Superheros maybe even as our roel models. But to be a superhero you dont need to have amazing powers, you dont need a costume, and you dont need to be an adult. In fact you can be a superhero right now if you want to! A superhero's job is to save the world and people to, right? So think about this: If everyone in the world threw all their garbage out their windows, or plastic recyclables into the trash instead of recycling, or maybe dumped their garbage into nearby bodies of water, what would earth look like in a few hundred years? The earth would become so pollouted people would barley be able to survive. The smog would smother the air making it hard to breathe and hard to see. The water would be so polluted in would become inedible even to animals. peoples lives might even shorten because the earth was so pollouted they couldnt even go outside because of the poor air quality! But you can help make the future a better place for man and animal alike. Taking a few extra steps to find a recycle bin, using recyclable items, picking up a few peices of trash you see someone carlessly threw on the ground, or even turnig off the water or lights when you aren't useing them to save the recorces would be small sacrifices to pay to make our planet a better place. So next time you read about all those superheros remeber that you could be one too, Fighting off the evil enemy of polloution and Going green.
